Strategic Mission:

Help us successfully grow the synergy between Velvac s groundbreaking original products and the ever present need for replacement and upgrade parts. The replacement part you need, when you need it is the mission of our expanding aftermarket offering. We scour the globe for high quality suppliers of truck and trailer parts serving the RV, Truck and other specialty vehicle markets. Our purchasing and engineering teams support your work by specifying suppliers and certifying products to insure only the finest available end up with the Velvac brand. The result is an impressive array of products that range from mirror and camera systems, to air brake products, and hose, hose assemblies and hose supports. Add fittings, fuel products and electrical components and soon you and your team of independent reps has a formidable catalog of over 4000 parts.

Your Aftermarket Management Role:

Drive planning, objectives and accomplishments of our Aftermarket efforts to even higher levels of sales, customer satisfaction, and quality and fulfillment rates.

Define and develop programs for sales growth, including strategies for responding to new opportunities, new competitors activities and new customers expectations. Monitoring and manage Velvac s position with its product offering, in its markets and its rep groups.
Motivate sales representative agencies to opportunities for new and profitable business relationships and establish goals/ evaluate performance of the company s field sales force. Recommendation new sales agencies and/or termination of others based on performance.

Assist in overseeing and coordinating a wide variety of marketing activities, such as forecasting, pricing, promotions, pricing, literature, POP and Plan-O-Grams to name a few. Our Product Marketing and Marketing Coordinators help you stay on top of this work.

Travel for Distributor events, trade shows and customer visits is also key to success.


What We Are Looking For:

Required:

  • Requires Bachelor of Arts or Science in Marketing, Sales or related field.
  • Requires 7 to 10 years in successful, high level, direct sales experience, as well as marketing or product line management.
  • Requires the ability to travel.
  • Requires experience in both Aftermarket and Truck Fleet market segments.
  • Requires exceptional sales and interpersonal skills.

Desired:

  • Strong contacts in target markets and heavy duty aftermarket segment.
  • Strong project management experience with a deadline orientation.
