We are seeking a General Manager for our Service Center to run the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) shop in Wilson, NC.

This role oversees, monitors, and coordinates MRO production team activities, giving importance to individual members and overall team achievement in achieving policy deployment objectives. Ensures teams' goals are aligned with and represent the company's objectives. Works proactively in addressing potential issues and applies real-time problem solving skills when working towards resolution.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead Repair Organization to create a culture that drives inclusion, employee engagement and supports the business need
* Ensure capacity and materials availability to guarantee on-time hardware delivery
* Ensure that MRO repair operators have the work instructions, processes, equipment, tooling, and tools to meet business unit goals and metrics. This requires process and product line knowledge, communication, and real time problem solving skills
* Ensure the highest attainment of customer delivery performance and customer satisfaction
* Meet customer service level goals for the department by managing manpower scheduling, test stand capacity management, and sound understanding of demand planning and material consumption requirements
* Establish and manage the business unit budget and providing input to annual capital budget requirements
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or
* Masters Degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience
Experience / Qualifications:
* Demonstrated direct report and team leadership experience
* Ability to understand, develop and deploy ACE, LEAN & Continuous Improvement principles across the MRO
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM's), aerospace specifications & governmental regulations.
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to effectively articulate important business segment messages to senior leadership, direct reports, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
