    The Director of Sales-Wholesale will work closely with plant Customer Service personnel and the Wholesale Sales team to develop, maintain and communicate customer programs and pricing that maximize Masonites penetration in the market while assuring that corporate profit targets are attained. Work with the Wholesale Sales team in the appropriation of regional special funding to assure maximum payback from available funds. Mentor and coach a Regional Sales team and set goals and expectations.

    Maximize sales productivity utilizing call reporting tools to:

  • Identify areas of weakness geographically/ channel wise to assure wholesale sales team enhance current customer relationships and aggressively pursue new business relationships that support the market strategy
  • Assure that our efforts with our most profitable product lines and customers receive the highest attention.
  • Measure and report on progress with assigned accounts.
  • Use the customer profitability tool to maximize sales and profits for:

  • Pricing changes with existing customers
  • Pricing for new customers
  • Proposing appropriate rebate and coop programs
  • Develop Wholesale Sales Team by:

  • Establishing the key performance measures to align with succession planning strategies
  • Providing individual coaching
  • Using external educational opportunities
  • Financial:

  • Prepare and manage the operating budget
  • Track and monitor expenditures with finance group to assure proper accruals are in place and payments are made.
  • Qualifications

  • 4-year degree
  • Minimum 5 years in the Building Materials Wholesale Industry
  • 1-2 years Management experience preferred
  • The region is Central and candidate can reside anywhere within TN, KY, IL, IN, OH, MI or WI.
